Sources focuses fundraising on children’s literacy program this June

Imagine a young child reaching up to open the mailbox – their eyes widening with excitement upon seeing a package shaped like a book – then carefully reading their name on the label – it is addressed to that child! The child opens the packaging, runs to their caregiver, crawls onto their lap and opens their new and exotic book. Coldest Night of the Year 2018

This winter, nearly 300 walkers took a step in White Rock to prevent homelessness in our community. On February 24, 2018, Sources hosted the 5th Annual Coldest Night of the Year!

Coldest Night of the Year is a fun and family-friendly 2, 5 and 10 km winter walk that happens in more than 100 communities across Canada on the same day. It allows participants the opportunity to experience a hint of the challenges faced by homeless people during cold Canadian nights in the dead of winter, as well as raise money to help these people.
