Thank you to the community sponsors that are supporting this year’s event! Their generosity helps both SOURCES and the Semiahmoo Rotary Club to provide services to those in need in our community and we truly appreciate it.
The 2021 Cause
Life has changed since COVID-19, with one of the biggest impacts being the hit on our mental health. The effects of suffering from isolation, anxiety, depression and discrimination can linger for a long time unless properly addressed.
That’s why half of the contributions from this year’s tournament will benefit the Social Wellness and Mental Health services that SOURCES offers, with a specific focus on supporting the mental wellness of youth, families and seniors through the DiscoverY, Counselling and Trauma Counselling programs. This cause is aligned with A Pathway to Hope, B.C.’s new compassion-centered strategy to improve mental health and well-being for all British Columbians.
The other half of the contributions will be directed by the Semiahmoo Rotary Club to a selection of community programs focused on youth leadership development, women’s shelters & transitional housing, White Rock Hospice, and the Food Bank.
Over the years, the support of tournament players, sponsors and volunteers has provided more than $1.4 million to fund many community projects. One hundred percent of the net tournament proceeds go to improve the lives of those in need!
The 2021 Event
We look forward to another great day of golf, fun, camaraderie, and fundraising for those in need in our community!
This year’s tournament will follow last year’s format, designed to keep all participants safe throughout the day (see COVID-19 safety). There will be many exciting things happening including on-course food & beverage stations, contests with prizes and more!
The 2021 tournament is sold out! To be added to the waitlist, please contact event organizers here.
