We were all smiles Monday morning because Barnes Harley-Davidson in Langley dropped by Sources Langley Food Bank with a cheque for $1,775!
All December, Barnes Harley-Davidson has been collecting food and cash donations for the Surrey Food Bank. When they learned that our food bank in Langley had suffered multiple thefts last week, they decided to redirect the cash they have raised and donate it to Sources.
The dealership’s general manager Brian Barnes went to Sources Langley Food Bank and handed the cheque to operations coordinator Bruce Strom.
“With this, we will be able to purchase approximately $4,500 worth of food,” Strom said.
