Stayte House, one of Sources Community Resource Centres’ community living group homes, has a shiny new kitchen and dining room thanks to the South Surrey Rotary Club!
“The Rotarians who volunteered their time were generous and kind and a delight to have in the house. From start to finish they were a wonderful crew and did a fabulous job. The kitchen, laundry room and dining area – there was nothing left behind – it was perfect,” said Kate O’Hare, manager of Stayte House.
As reported in the Peace Arch News, the work at Stayte House wrapped up on September 7, 2020 following three “solid weeks” of effort by volunteers who logged a total of 430 volunteer hours.
“It was a great project. The difference is really remarkable,” said club president Rhonda Latreille. “It was both fun and rewarding!”
“We were delighted to be able to work with the Rotary Club of South Surrey on this project that improves the quality of life for people we serve,” said David Young, SOURCES CEO.
