Enchanted Gala Sponsor Tale: Terminal City Iron Works & Dobney Foundry

Two companies over the last two years have contributed $30,000 to support community.

Langley-based Terminal City Iron Works Ltd. and Surrey-based Dobney Foundry have sponsored the Sources Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Gala at the Platinum and Gold levels, respectively. In doing so, they have helped push SOURCES beyond its fundraising goals and played an important part in each Gala’s success.

The 2018 Like A Rock Gala and 2019 Enchanted Gala raised a cumulative $650,000 for SOURCES’ social wellness services – vital community programs that don’t typically receive government aid and depend on community support. These include the Food Banks in White Rock/South Surrey and Langley, Women’s Place, Homelessness Prevention Services, and several other programs that aid children, youth, adults, and seniors struggling with poverty, disability, mental illness, and more.

Bill Zielinski, representing both companies, said they are old companies and want their contributions to leave a legacy for a better future. However, they prefer to stay in the background. Nevertheless, SOURCES and the community are grateful for their generous support.

Thanks to you, we can continue to provide help, encouragement and hope to thousands of people who need it.
