Through your generous and compassionate efforts, we exceeded our fundraising goal and will be able to help more people in our community to stay safe, warm and housed!
SOURCES hosted the 6th Annual Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) in White Rock on February 23, 2019. We acknowledge that this event and our work takes place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish People, specifically the Kwantlen, Katzie and Semiahmoo First Nations.
Close to 500 community members—including team captains, walkers, route marshalls, volunteers, local politicians, sponsors and staff—gathered to help prevent homelessness in our community.
Because of you, this was our most successful year yet!
The funds we raised together will help vulnerable people in our community who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Learn more about the programs you’re supporting: Homelessness Prevention Services and Rent Bank.
And you know what’s really COOL? Out of 134 locations hosting CNOY events across Canada, our WHITE ROCK location ranked #8 on Event Day for dollars fundraised!
We are so proud to be part of this nationwide event that raised over $5,300,000 for charities that help the hungry, homeless and hurting. We are especially excited about the $106,000+ we’ve raised right here in our City by the Sea. Thank you for all of your heartwarming support.
