On Giving Tuesday, a Langley business stepped up to support our local food bank with a generous donation of $3,000.
“We just received a wonderful donation from Kymar Gutters,” said Jaye Murray, Manager at Sources Langley Food Bank.
Kymar Gutters is a family-owned, local small business that specializes in gutters and down pipes. Visit their website here.
The donation follows a plea published on Nov. 24, 2017 in the Aldergrove Star, at which time the food bank was running desperately low in supplies. “We only have enough protein for two weeks,” Murray said. Read the article here.
Through our partnership with local food distributors, our food bank will be able to triple the value of every dollar donated, turning Kymar Gutter’s $3,000 donation into $9,000 worth of food!
Thank you, Kymar Gutters, for your support this Giving Tuesday!
