Players and family members of the Semiahmoo Bantam A1 Hockey Team decided to give back to their community this holiday season by organizing a Food Bank Drive for Sources South Surrey/White Rock Food Bank!
The Food Bank Drive was held at the team’s hockey game with the Langley Minor Hockey team on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
“It was a very successful event!!” wrote the Semiahmoo team’s manager Tracey Hendry. “We invited the Langley team to join us in our efforts to collect food to donate to Sources South Surrey/White Rock Food Bank and both teams were generous with their donations.”
Special thanks to the Fresh Slice Pizza on White Rock Beach for helping with the food drive by generously donating pizzas for both teams to enjoy after the game!
