‘Tis the season of giving! On December 10, 2014, Sources held its annual holiday fundraiser Season of Trees at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey. All 17 beautifully decorated trees were auctioned to a generous audience, raising close to $10,000 for Sources’ early childhood education programs.
The evening featured delicious appetizers, light refreshments, a musical performance by two high school students and an exciting auction emceed by Global BC personality Mark Madryga. Each unique, themed tree was sponsored and decorated by local individuals, businesses and community groups.
The Surrey RCMP tree, with its toy police cars, teddy bears, Canada flags and yellow tape, won the coveted People’s Choice Award!
