Everyone has a right to safe and healthy food. People living on a low income do not have access to enough nutritious food to meet their health needs. The Food Banks provides recipients with enough food for 2-3 days per week; therefore, it is doubly important that food we distribute is nutritious.
In 2014, the Food Bank provided 15,786 hampers to 1,711 individuals in 868 different households.
Food and donations can be dropped off at the White Rock/South Surrey location Monday-Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm, or at the Langley location Monday-Thursday 8:30am – 4:00pm and Friday 9am-12pm.
Food bins are located at: Save-On Foods, Price Smart, Safeway Peninsula Village, Safeway Ocean Park, Thrifty Foods, Choices and Buy-Low for after hour food donations.
Or donate online.
