White Rock RCMP clothing drive benefits SOURCES

Thank you to the White Rock RCMP and Community Policing for hosting their fourth annual children’s clothing collection event in support of our local community.

Community members were invited to drop-off children’s clothing, toys and donations to the detachment from Nov. 1 – Dec. 1 for distribution to Sources Community Resource Centres and Options Community Services. A drive-thru collection event happened on Nov. 27 at the detachment, when there was also a special appearance by Safety Bear and Santa to greet all the donors. Little oOties Mini Donuts were also there selling bags of donuts, with a portion of those sales benefiting the fundraiser.

Later, Romy DeVries (Victim Services/Crime Prevention Coordinator) dropped off a large assortment of children’s clothing, along with cash donations, to Sources Women’s Place.

Thank you for giving!
