Keep your golf swing in good shape because the Semiahmoo Rotary Club’s 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament is a GO!
For the third year in a row, the fundraising sporting event will benefit SOURCES. Proceeds will be directed to the community-based non-profit organization’s Comfort and Care during COVID-19 response fund.
The 2018 and 2019 tournaments raised much needed funds for SOURCES’ DiscoverY youth mental health counselling program and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
For 2020, in an effort to continue supporting the community while respecting the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, the Semiahmoo Rotary Club is partnering with SOURCES and its COVID-19 response efforts to provide mental wellness and community support services to individuals and families young and old, who are suffering from abuse, addiction, anxiety, hunger, homelessness and more.
The tournament will be held at Morgan Creek Golf Course (3500 Morgan Creek Way, Surrey, B.C.) on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“We are all dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic as best we can. To ensure we can continue to provide critical community support during this time of greater need, we have decided to proceed with our golf tournament with some necessary changes. This year’s event has been reformatted to keep all participants safe throughout the day. While the format may have changed, it will be a great day of golf, fun, and fundraising for everyone” — Event Website
