The ladies at Curves South Surrey recently donated $615 to the Hot Lunch Program at Sources Women’s Place, bringing their total amount donated to over $3,000 since December 2014!
In addition to monetary donations, the members of Curves South Surrey, led by owner Dean Eickmeier (pictured, left), have donated clothing items for the Clothing Exchange at Women’s Place.
The Hot Lunch Program offers a nutritious and tasty hot lunch to women and their children every Tuesday – Friday from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Clothing Exchange provides quality women’s clothing (casual and business attire) along with children’s and infant outfits. Shoes, bags and hats are also available.
Last year, Curves’ fundraising initiatives enabled us to serve over 6,500 free lunches to women and children and made it possible for over 4,000 women and children to receive free clothing. With this latest donation, we will be able to provide even more.
Thank you, Curves South Surrey,
for caring about Social Wellness in Our Community!
