Sources Legal Program awarded Soroptimist White Rock grant

Sources’ Legal Information and Advocacy Program received a grant from Soroptimist International of White Rock (SIWR) at their awards night on May 10, 2016. A cheque was presented by SIWR president Cindi Lococo to Ram Sidhu, program manager of Sources Legal Resource Centre.

“We strive to support women in their quest to get justice from the legal system, and we are very proud of the work being done by the Legal Aid program at SOURCES,” said SIWR treasurer Liz Aubert.

“Soroptimist of White Rock has been providing continued support to Sources Legal Information and Advocacy program for many years,” said Ram. “The legal program works with women who are fleeing domestic violence and need assistance navigating the family justice system. We provide supports to women who are in the process of obtaining protection order and parenting and guardianship orders.”
