Crescent Gardens Retirement Community helps Women’s Place

Sources Women’s Place would like to thank the generous people at Crescent Gardens Retirement Community for their continuous support!

On November 13, Kim White along with some of the residents – Russ, Werner, and Tony with Korri – dropped by and donated a wheelchair, 15 bags of clothing and $125 towards the Hot Lunch Program at Sources Women’s Place. Thank you so much!

What is the Hot Lunch Program?

Every week, Tuesdays thru Fridays, women and their children (14-years-old and under) can drop in to Sources Women’s Place to enjoy a warm meal, socialize with other women and access free clothing, laundry and shower facilities. Around 40 to 60 women are served each day. Some depend on the Hot Lunch Program to supplement their grocery budget, while others live alone and come to enjoy the sense of community they feel at the centre.

Want to help?

$100 can purchase hot lunches for 1 day (approximately 40 women).
