The 2015 Ocean Park BlockFest on September 26 was a great success, raising over $2,000 for Sources South Surrey/White Rock Food Bank!
Hosted annually, a group of Ocean Park neighbours organize the event, on 129th Street (down from Fun Fun Park) for an afternoon of live entertainment, activities for kids, draws and more!
Guests were encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and cash for raffle tickets. In total, they stuffed our food bank van from top to bottom and end to end!
Sources would like to thank the 250+ people who attended, all the 60+ sponsors, the live band “River Bottom Boys,” Z95.3 for keeping the music going, the tireless volunteers and event organizers for your incredible support of our Food Bank!
